It came from the mountain: A bizarre story dream

It came from the mountain

That was the title of the story that I dreamt. I tried looking it up, but it doesn’t exist. Some parts of this dream I couldn’t remember.

It starts with a man who is a resident of a mansion owned by a noble family. This man was either a doctor or a scientist, for he had a lab in his room, unknown to the servants and the family.

One day, he went outside amongst the servants, soldiers, and deformed hounds in what looked like a barracks. The man saw the brutal treatment of the hounds that some of them have cuts, burns, and also don’t even have fur, an eye, or hind legs. One of these hounds got their hind legs chopped off, and healed back by some kind of magic and sewing. The man walked away, but not without carrying a corpse of another legless hound in the middle of the place. One guard notices this, asked the man on what he’s doing with the dead body. The man answered, “Autopsy.” The guard was puzzled but did not question any further.

So in his lab, he started cutting up some tissue of the dead, preparing some samples for his observation. I remember no more of this scenario.

Skip to nighttime, by the dungeons of this noble house, was a disturbance. The man was there along with a few servants, watching a guard being mauled by a monster in the shadows. Between them are three bodies of what’s left of the guards that tried to kill or apprehend the creature. From a window in the ceiling, the moon shines bright. The beast walks to the light, facing the man snd the servants. It was a werewolf with patches of fur and skin full of slashes and cuts.

The beast roared at the humans and dashed to them claws open.

And that was the end of it. Tried to go back to sleep to finish it, but there was nothing
